Systems that run themselves.

I build websites, web apps and automations. Things that keep working when nobody is watching.

What I build

Four things I know how to do well.

  1. 01

    Websites

Fast, clear, no filler. A page a visitor understands in three seconds.

E.g. a tradesman's site that loads in a second on a phone and has one button: call.

  2. 02

    Web apps

For when a spreadsheet stops being enough. A tool built for one specific process.

E.g. bookings, orders or records in the browser, everyone sees their own.

  3. 03

    Automations

What someone does by hand every day can run on its own.

E.g. a form on the site → a quote in the client's inbox within a minute.

  4. 04

    Business systems

Everything a company knows in one place, and an AI assistant that can actually use it.

    E.g. my own system, below.

Work

What I'm building right now.

Own projects and a demo. Client work will appear here once it ships, with their permission.

Own project · in daily use

Shadow OS

An operating system for one person and one business: knowledge, clients, tasks and documents in one place. An AI assistant reads all of it and drafts the summary, the reply and the next step.

Demo · automation

Inquiries without retyping

A form on the site, a quote in the client's inbox within a minute, a copy in the sheet, a reminder three days later. Nobody retypes anything.

Own project · website

vrhov.com

This site. Static, no cookies, loads in under a second. Slovenian and English.

How I work

Three things that don't change.

  • Problem first, tools second.

I don't start with technology. I start by asking where time or customers are being lost, then build only what fixes that.

  • Less, but it works.

A simple thing that runs every day is worth more than a clever one that needs explaining.

  • One person, start to finish.

You talk to me, I build it, I support it. Nothing gets lost in a handover.

About

Zigy

I'm Zigy, a developer from Ljubljana, Slovenia. VRHOV is my workshop: everything on this page, I built myself.

The name is Slovenian for "of the peaks". I like mountains, where there are no shortcuts, and I work on projects the same way: first understand where you want to go, then take the shortest path that actually gets there.
